Doodle Jump unblocked: play Doodle Jump online free right here in your browser — no download, no sign-up, works on a school Chromebook.

Doodle Jump is a one-button-free arcade climber with a very simple idea: a little four-legged creature bounces upward on its own, and you only decide where it lands. Platforms are scattered up a sheet of graph paper, you steer left and right to catch the next one, and the screen scrolls higher the further you get. There is no finish line, only a score that counts how far up you made it before you fell off the bottom.

The pace is what makes it work. A run lasts anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes, and a fall restarts you almost instantly, so "one more try" turns into twenty. If you came to Low’s Adventures 2 for tight, reflex-driven platforming, this is the stripped-down version of that feeling: no levels to memorise, just timing and judgement about where the next platform will be.

It runs in the browser with nothing to install, on a laptop, Chromebook or phone.

How to play

Your character jumps by itself every time it touches a platform, so the whole game is horizontal control. On a keyboard, use the left and right arrow keys (or A and D) to move. The screen wraps at the sides: slip off the right edge and you reappear on the left, which is a handy way to reach a platform that is on the wrong side. On a touch screen, the on-screen controls or tilt-style touch input move you the same way.

Platforms differ. Some are solid and safe, some move sideways, and some crumble after you touch them, so treat anything that looks different as a one-time stop. Springs and similar boosts launch you much higher than a normal bounce, and monsters or holes in the way will end a run if you land on them badly.

Tips

  • Make small corrections. Holding a direction down for a long time sends you flying past your target; tap in short bursts instead.
  • Look one platform ahead. While you are still rising, decide where the next landing spot is rather than reacting once you start falling.
  • Use the screen wrap on purpose. Going off one side to land on the opposite one is often quicker than crossing the whole width.
  • Do not chase every boost. A spring is only worth it if you can see a safe platform near where it will put you.

For a more traditional platformer, try Dyna Boy or Red Ball 4, where you run, jump and reach an exit. Level Devil is the opposite of Doodle Jump’s friendly bounce: a platformer where the level itself tries to trick you. Mophead Dash is a closer cousin if you like quick, repeatable runs.

Doodle Jump suits short breaks, since you can stop after any fall without losing anything, and it is easy to hand to someone who has never played a platform game.

Questions about Doodle Jump

Doodle Jump runs in an ordinary browser tab from lowsadventure2.com, with nothing to download or install, so it plays on most school Chromebooks and work computers. If a network filter blocks the site, only that network's administrator can change it.

How do you control Doodle Jump?

The character jumps automatically. Use the left and right arrow keys (or A and D) to steer, and on a touch screen use the on-screen touch controls.
